A sample of what others say
I first met Rachel when she provided my leadership team with a presentation skills workshop. At the risk of sounding like a cheesy American TV advert - the workshop dramatically changed how I present to others because the emphasis was on the emotional connection with the audience. Emotional Intelligence is a fascinating topic for me. It's not a topic I profess to completely understand from the research/technical sense but it's certainly a subject that makes sense to me because I work with and for people, not machines!
Jonathan Throssell, CEO, Local Government in Perth, W.A., February 2013.
Our event went well and it seems that we managed to be gold masters of ceremony :) I checked other books on this topic in the popular online bookstores and this one made an impression as the most comprehensive material on this topic. The book was very helpful and gave me the confidence I needed for this event.
Lidiya Nadych-Petrenko, Switzerland, November 2012.
I read through the e-book and it was great, and has given me confidence to do my sudden gig this week. (A big one as well, an international fashion week!)
Taisuke Yamamoto International Communications Manager/ Copywriter, Media Pop, Singapore, November 2012.
I am happy to provide some feedback regarding the emotional intelligence masterclass. As you know I had previously seen you conduct this session for the CEO Institute. I believed it would be useful for my Executive team to have the same session delivered for us as a group. Myself and my fellow directors found the class extremely useful. The way in which you delivered the material was very relevant and practical which allowed us to identify with what you were saying and directly relate it to the practical day to day challenges we face. It was a very useful exercise for us to do as a group and everyone indicated they got a great deal from it. Thank you again for the extremely informative and helpful session.
Tony Ahern, Chief Executive Officer, St John Ambulance Australia (WA) Inc, Belmont, Western Australia, December 2012.
Saturday I was offered a job as MC for a wedding and the only experience that I had it was my guiding experience with American and Australian groups, but thanks to you Rachel, after reading your book I felt like I had been doing this job for ever.
Maurizio Caminita, Island of Ustica, Sicily, October 2012.
"The Emotional Intelligence course was revealing regarding best practices in understanding what drives and motivates the majority of employees in the workplace and how to understand, appreciate and harness the "emotional" side of the workplace. The half day course was fun and learning was reinforced with some interesting case studies demonstrating the pitfalls of not understanding the main Emotional Intelligence factors. A must for all those managing people in the workplace."
Steve Blake. CEO, Western Australian Marine Science Institution, June 2011.
Delegate feedback confirms that Rachel was a highlight at both our LGMA conferences. Please find below some comments provided by delegates:
"I think all staff should attend a presentation with Rachel Green. Very worthwhile and informative. Assists all aspects of your life, home, work, team."
"Rachel was outstanding! I left the conference feeling uplifted and motivated. Rachel taught some excellent skills."
"Finished the day on a high with Rachel - how awesome is she?!!"
"Rachel was amazing - definitely the highlight & the flow on to the networking event was excellent."
"We all need a "Rachel Green" in our communities & more specifically within our Council/Shire/City to draw us back to the important things - people & the relationships we have with them."
Luana Abbott, LGMA Events Manager, June 2011.
It is a testament to her skills, knowledge and genuine passion that regardless of the fact her session followed the lunch break, not one delegate dozed off. Rachel's ability to impart knowledge in an interactive and fun way ensured the entire audience left the
session feeling empowered and far better equipped to deal with difficult clients. Rachel would easily be in the top 1% of professional speakers.
Angus Kukura, Co-Chair National Conference Committee, Retirement Villages Association, Jan 2010.
